Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does the HUD have to be taken as inventory and worn manually?

A: The mesh frame is about 52 Land Impact, and even as a temporary object, that can cause problems.

Q: What's different from the old L$1 table from a decade ago?

A: This has almost all of the modern content, modern features, and doesn't require sitting. In previous tests in the last couple of months it kinda harshed our buzz.

Q: Is there any cost or points lost for swapping out my card deck?

A: Nope. Just a brief cooldown to keep the web server from self-immolating.

Q: Why does this cost more than L$1?

A: The webserver costs money to run and I'm recouperating from medical expenses.

Q: Why not cram this all into notecards?

A: Rez is too lazy to develop the multi-threaded code to manage the dozen notecards needed to store all the content. It's a ton faster for him to get lazy and exorcize his AWS project instance.

Q: Can I suggest content or build my own packs?

A: We're working on it. One good way would be to make a Google Sheet or Google Doc and share it to deadpan (at) gmail.com. Custom Packs are going to a V2 or V3 feature.

Q: The initial color options, is Rez colorblind or something?

A: Well. One eye sees a different color temperature after a surgery. And his wife has learned not to send him to buy paint. We're open to feedback on these.
